Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test popularly known as AP EAMCET  2017 Notification has been announced JNTUK, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. Applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admissions into Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Under Graduate Professional courses offered Universities and affiliated professional colleges across the Andhra Pradesh state for the academic session 2017-2018. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their application through online at official website.

Note :

1. Candidates interested in apply for B.Arch course in AP / Telangna are advised to take "NATA" an online exam . A separate notification will be issued for counseling for students seeking admission in Bachelor of Architecture course. 

2. Admission in the MBBS / BDS will be done through NEET 2017 an offline exam.

Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2017


Nationality and Domicile 

1. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders.

2. Candidate should be belong to the state of Andhara Pradesh and should satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP educational Institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.

3. Candidate should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as per AP GO MS No 153. 
       
Educational Qualifications

1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination ( 10+2) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as optional (or) related Vocational  courses in the filed as Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh / Telangna, along Bridge course (or) conducted by it candidate enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards (or) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate AP / Telangna.

2. Candidates should have passed or appeared at final year Diploma examination in Engineering, conducted by State Board of Technical Education of AP / Telangna , any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by State Board of Technical Education and Training Andhra Pradesh / Telangna.

3. Candidate should obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.

Age Limit 

1. Engineering , Pharmacy Courses : Candidate should complete 16 years as age on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

2. B.Tech(Dairy Technology), B.Tech (FS & T), B.Sc (CA & BM) Courses : Candidate should complete 17 years as age on 31st December of the year of admission and upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates (25 Years for SC / ST). 

3. BAMS / BHMS / BNYS : Candidate should complete 17 years as age on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

How to Apply-Online application form for  AP EAMCET 2017

The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria EAMCET 2017, can apply  online mode only.The registration process will be held in two phases, in the 1st phase the aspirants are required to pay the application fee while in the second phase, the candidates can fill the online application and submit it. Candidate shall  take printout of the application and store it for future reference.   

Step-1 Payment of Application fee

Registration Fee in Offline

1.  Visit any of the AP Online Center with following mandatory details and pay requisite fee.

Date of Birth of candidate
Hall ticket number of SSC or equivalent and Month, Year of passing

2. You will receive a receipt of fee at above centers containing "Journal number ". Can proceed will submission of application.

Registration Fee in Online  

1. Login to the official website,clicking on 'online payment' select the post applying for APEAMCET 2017 and District belongs to and enter the personal details.

2. Choose the appropriate option mode of 'payment of Gateway' and select the Bank .Clicking on 'make payment' and submit.

3. Completing the banking process shall receive "Journal Number",can proceed will submission of application

Step-2  Fill up of Online application

1. Login to the official website http://sche.ap.gov.in/APEAMCET , go through the instructions to fill up the form.Click on the "Apply Online" link.

2. The following registration fee payment procedure webpage will appear on the screen.Select appropriate registration fee payment mode AP Online (or) Debit / Credit card and click.

3. After clicking the button the following "Payment verification" webpage will appear on the screen.Fill all the details in the respective fields completed after clicking the button "Proceed filling application form"application will be displayed.

4. Fill the entire academic, study , reservation and personal details . Upload photo and signature and click "Save" button.

5. Finally click submit button,take the printout application mentioning the "Reference Id" (Registration Id).

Step-6 :  Print the Application

Click on appearing as " Print your Application" link, enter the required details and click submit button.

Test Centers

The candidate should fill the name of examination centere where he / she wants to appear in the test. Examination centre once opted by the candidate shall not be changed under any circumstances,  however university reserves the right to allot any centre in view of the exigencies.
Exam Pattern 

The entrance test conducted in Online / Offline. The paper will consist of 160 objective type and Multiple choice questions in 3 hours duration. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded 1 mark. The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks. No negative marks.

Selection Procedure


1. 75% of weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET 2017 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects (Mathematics (or) Biology, Physics, Chemistry) 

2. Admission into of college depends on it Recognition / Affiliation by the statutory bodies and option of the college exercised in counseling.

3. Rule of reservation.

4. Admission to 85% of seats shall be reserved for local candidates and 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved of specified in the AP Educational Institution order  1974 as amended.

Qualifying Marks AP EAMCET 2017


Qualifying cutoff mark in the entrance test is 25% (40 marks out of total 160 marks). However for candidate belonging to SC / ST no qualifying percentage marks  is prescribed.
