LAWCET 2018 : Exam date, Notification, Online application form, Eligibility, Fee, Syllabus, Exam pattern, Answer key Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test popularly know as AP LAWCET 2018 Notification will be announced soon by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapuramu on behalf of APSCHE. Applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admissions into LL.B 3-Year / LL.B 5-Year Law courses in the Universities and affiliated colleges across the Andhra Pradesh state for the academic year 2018-2019. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their application through online at official website.

Application Fee and Payment 

1. The registration fee is Rs 450/- for all category candidates

2. The fee may be paid at any AP Online center and also through Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking).

Eligibility Criteria for AP LAWCET 2018

Nationality and Domicile 

1. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2.  Candidate should be belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh only and should satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.

3. Candidate should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as per TS GO MS No 25 & 108. 

Educational Qualifications

3-Year LL.B : 

The candidates should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% (40% marks for SC / ST) of marks aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned. If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation he / she should have passed any additional graduation  or Post Graduation 45% marks.

5-Year LL.B : 

The candidates should have passed two year Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education A.P.

Age Limit 

There is no maximum age limit prescribed for admission into 3-year / 5-year LL.B courses.

How to Apply-Online application form for AP LAWCET 2018

The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria LAWCET, can apply  online mode only.The registration process will be held in two phases, in the 1st phase the aspirants are required to pay the application fee while in the second phase, the candidates can fill the online application and submit it. Candidate shall  take printout of the application and store it for future reference.

Step-1 : Payment of Application fee

Registration Fee in Offline

1Candidates visit nearest AP Online center.

2. Provide all necessary details Name,Date of birth,Mobile number and Make the payment.

3. You will receive a receipt of fee at above centers containing "Journal number ". Can proceed will submission of application.

Registration Fee in Online  

1. Login to the official website,clicking on 'online payment' select the post applying for APLAWCET and District belongs to and enter the personal details.

2. Choose the appropriate option mode of 'payment of Gateway' and select the Bank .Clicking on 'make payment' and submit.

3. Completing the banking process shall receive "Journal Number",can proceed will submission of application. 

Step-2 : Fill up of Online application

1. Login to the official website http://www.aplawcet.org, go through the instructions to fill up the form.Click on the "Apply Online" link.

2. The following registration fee payment procedure web page will appear on the screen.Select appropriate registration fee payment mode AP Online (or) Debit / Credit card and click.

3. After clicking the button the following "Payment verification" web page will appear on the screen.Fill all the details in the respective fields completed after clicking the button "Proceed filling application form"application will be displayed.

4. Fill the entire academic, study , reservation and personal details . Upload photo and signature and click "Save" button.

5. Finally click submit button,take the printout application mentioning the "Reference Id" (Registration Id).

Step-3 :   Print the Application

6. Click on appearing as " Print your Application" link, enter the required details and click submit button.

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during Application form 

1. Hall ticket number / Year of passing , place of study ,percentage for qualifying examination.

2. Study details for up to Degree / Intermediate

3. Personal details and Address for correspondence 

4. Caste in case of SC / ST / BC candidate.

5. PH,NCC,NSS,CAP,Sports.......etc

6. Income up to one lakh or two lakhs or more than two lakhs.

7. Study or Residence or Relevant certificate for proof of local status.

8. Choice of help line centers is for certificates verification and options at the time of admission.

The candidate should fill the name of one examination centere where he / she wants to appear in the test.

Syllabus for AP LAWCET 2018

For 5-Year Law Course: The standard expected is of Intermediate  level

For 3-Year Law Course: The standard expected is of Graduation level

Part-C :  Aptitude of the study of law, elementary knowledge of the basic principles of the law and constitution of India on the part of the student is assumed.

AP LAWCET 2018 Exam pattern

The entrance test conducted in Online as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The paper will consist of 120 objective type and Multiple choice questions in 1 & 1/2 (90 Minutes) hours duration. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded 1 mark. The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks. No negative marks.The paper will in English and Telugu language.

Qualifying Marks

Qualifying cut-off mark in the entrance test is 35% (42 marks out of total 120 marks). However for candidate belonging to SC / ST "No" minimum qualifying percentage marks is prescribed.

Selection Procedure

1. Based on the merit in the entrance test.

2. Admission into of college depends on it Recognition / Affiliation by the statutory bodies and option of the college exercised in counselling.

3. Admission to 85% of seats shall be reserved for local candidates and 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved of specified in the AP Educational Institution order  1974 as amended. 

AP LAWCET  2018 Answer Key 

The S.K University ,Government of A.P will publish the answer key of all papers of test in the official website. Candidates can calculate their marks entrance test, after knowing the total number answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key.If any candidate has complaints regarding the keys / question, the same shall be submitted to the authority , in writing a along with supporting documents, being challenged before date of result.
