IIT JAM Result 2018will be announced soon by Organizing Authority in the month of March on behalf of Government of India . IIT's and IISC has successfully carried out the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc 2018 for admission to M.Sc (Two Years), Joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D Dual Degree M.Sc -M.Tech and other Post -Bachelor Degree programmes IITs and IISC across the country for the academic session 2018-2019. Integrated Ph.D. programmes in Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences & Biological Sciences at IISc Bangalore Candidates who are appeared in the JAM Exam they can check their exam result by entering their Enrollment Id / Password from the JOAPS Portal of JAM website.

IIT JAM Results 2018 : Date

The JAM Exam 2018 conducted by the One of the IIT on the 2nd week of February 2018 and was attend by a large number candidates aspiring to complete Post Graduate and Ph.D programmes. Aspirants from  all parts of the country appeared in the test at different examination centers across the India. IIT JAM 2018 Score, Merit list 

IIT JAM 2018 authority declares the All India merit list based on the scores obtained by the candidates in Computer Based  Joint Admission Test for M.Sc Exam 2018 conducted online  on February-2018. Selection and placement of candidate shall be made purely on the basis of marks secured by him / her in the Entrance Test. Rank list shall be published on the basis of the result of Entrance Test both category -wise and subject-wise. The scores obtained have been calculate by assigning 

➤ 60 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks

➤  1-Mark multiple choice questions, 1/2 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

➤ 2-Mark multiple choice questions, 2/3 mark will be deducted for wrong answer 

➤In Section-B (Multiple Select Questions), there are no negative and no partial marking provisions. 

➤ There is no negative marking in Section-C

For each test paper in JAM 2018, an All India Rank (AIR) will be assigned to all the appeared candidates based on the performance of the candidates in the test paper. Designated Admission authorities will be responsible to ascertain the Category of the candidate from their valid original documents at the time of admission.

For each test paper, an All India Merit list will be prepared based on AIR. The number of candidates included in the All India Merit List will depend on the total number of seats available in each category (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD) in a given subject. These candidates (henceforth called Qualified Candidates) are eligible to apply for admission to any of the corresponding academic programmes available at IITs and IISc. Please note that the number of category-wise (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD) candidates included in the All India Merit List will be based on the category declared by the candidates in their application.

Tie-Breaking :

The tie-breaking criterion for awarding the ranks to candidates scoring the same aggregate marks in a test paper will be as follows.The candidate with a higher ratio of positive marks to negative marks will be given a higher rank. If this criterion fails to break ties, the candidates concerned will be awarded the same rank.
IIT JAM 2018 Cutoff

JAM cutoff 2018 marks for different courses will be published on the official website . The cutoff marks are very important for each appearing candidate. The candidate can get an idea of minimum marks required for qualification of the exam by knowledge of the cutoff marks. The cutoff will be on the basis of number of applicants and complexity of this exam. The exam will be conducted 100 marks in 3 hours duration.

How to Get JAM Result 2018 

1. Login to the official website http://jam.iitd.ac.in

2. Enter the Enrollment Id / Password and clicking on the "Submit" button. 

3. Entry's are correct result along with marks, rank will be displayed.

4. Save it, download it and print a copy.

2. IIT Bhubaneswar (IITBBS): Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D. Programmes in (a) Chemistry, (b) Geology, (c) Mathematics, (d) Physics, and (e) Atmosphere and Ocean Sciences.

 The modalities for selection to the Ph. D. programme in the joint M. Sc. - Ph. D programme are as follows After completing the third semester of the M. Sc. Programme.

Those students securing CGPA > 8.5 and having expressed their desire to continue in writing are eligible to opt for the Ph. D. programme. Final selection will be based on written test, interview and other shortlisting criteria set by the School. Those not selected and those who do not opt for the Ph.D. program will exit with an M.Sc. degree.

Those with CGPA < 8.5 are not allowed to opt for the Ph. D. programme and shall exit with the M.Sc. degree.

3. IIT Bombay (IITB): Two-year Master of Science (M.Sc.) Programmes in (a) Applied Geology, (b) Applied Geophysics, (c) Applied Statistics and Informatics, (d) Biotechnology, (e) Chemistry, (f) Mathematics, and (g) Physics.

Four-year Dual Degree Programme in M.Sc. (Physics)-M.Tech. (Materials Science) with specialization in Nano-Science and Technology.

Students continuing M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual degree programme are awarded M.Sc. degree after successful completion of all its prescribed requirements with recognition that it also partially fulfills the requirements of M.Sc. and PhD Dual Degree Program.
