JEE Main 2018 Admit card will be declared by Central Board of Secondary Education. Hall ticket have to be downloaded from the official website tentatively from 2nd week March. Make sure you also take the admit card will you to examination hall because it the mandatory document to sit the examination hall. Candidates after successful completion of online registration can download hall ticket through online from official website. The candidate may please note that Admit cards will not be sent by post & mail.



JEE Main Hall Ticket 2018 Downloading  : Date 

JEE Main Exam 2018 will be conducted by CBSE , will be announced the hall tickets of entrance examination. Earlier the application process was completed, now this exam is going to be held for which admit card is required for appearing in this test. Candidates must keep ready the login information such as Application Number , Password of candidate. The admit card for JEE Main would be available through online process only. Candidate can download their hall ticket from the official website.

JEE Main 2018 Hall ticket will show the following details

Candidates can download hall tickets one week before the exam date, carefully examine all the entry's made there in,in case any discrepancy the candidate should inform organizing authority immediately. A call centre will also be functional on all working days from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM for general facilitation. Prior to the Exam

1. Check the Admit card thoroughly for errors, if any , inform organizing authority.

2. Read the instructions printed on the hall ticket

3.  every candidate should attempt the mock test available at official website. Practice mock tests continuously reviews to provide mock test its content and strives to provide, mock test that are closest to the actual test.

Candidates are required to bring the following to the examination hall

1. Hall ticket

2. Valid Original Id

3. Documents

4. Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Eraser and Colour pencils or Crayons (Aptitude Test in Architecture).

Instructions Regarding the Test

1. Hall ticket issued to the candidate is an important document. Candidates are required to preserve it carefully. 

2. Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least 2½ hours before the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before the time. Registration desk will be closed 05 minutes prior to the examination.

3. Calculators, Slide Rules, Geometry Box, Electronic Digital Watches with facilities of calculators, printed or written material and bits papers, mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth or any other electronic gadget are not allowed inside the Examination Hall.

4. A seat indicating roll number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidate should find out and occupy their allotted seat only. Any candidate found to have changed room or the seat on his/her own other than allotted, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and no plea would be accepted for it.

5. Candidate must affix their signature in the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator in the examination hall.

6. Candidate should not talk to another candidate or person inside or outside the examination hall without permission even after a warning by the invigilating staff.

7. No Candidate will be allowed to carry any baggage inside the Examination Centre. JEE Apex Board will not be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the premises.

8. Candidate should not possess papers, books or notes or written notes or any type of electronic gadgets on his clothes, body or table or chair, which is relevant to the examination.
Instructions for Computer Based Examination 

1. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the admit card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.

2. The Ball Pens will be supplied to the candidates in the examination hall so they should not bring any type of Pen/Ball Pens with them.

3. All calculations/writing work are to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centre and on completion of the test candidates must hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the Room/Hall.

4.  The candidate is expected to have basic familiarity with use of computer like Keyboard and mouse operations. It is the responsibility of the candidate to acquire these skills before appearing for test and the authority cannot take responsibility for the same.

5. The candidate must ensure that the computer allotted to him / her is switched on and any problem with computer is to be intimated to the proctor immediately.

6. Candidates should maintain perfect silence, all actions of the candidate in the hall will be closely monitored using web cam and closed circuit cameras. Any conversation or gesticulation or disturbance in the test hall, should be deemed as misbehaviour and if any candidate is found using unfair means or  impersonation , his / her candidature will be cancelled and they will be liable to the debarred from taking examination either permanently or specified, as decided by the authority.

7. On completion of the test , computer will display the result in terms of number of total correct answers and wrong answers with the score.


Instructions for Paper and-Pen Based Examination 

Instructions Regarding Question Booklet

1. The Ball Pens will be supplied to the candidates in the examination hall so they should not bring any type of Pen/Ball Pens with them.

2. Five minutes before the commencement of the paper the candidate will be asked to break/open the seal of the Test Booklet. He/She will take out the Answer Sheet carefully. The candidate should check carefully that the Test Booklet Code printed on Side-2 of the Answer Sheet is the same as printed on the Test Booklet. In case of discrepancy, the candidate should immediately report the matter to the Invigilator for replacement of both the Test Booklet and the Answer Sheet.

3. Immediately on receipt of the Test Booklet the candidate will fill in the required particulars on the cover page of the Test Booklet with Ball Point Pen only. Candidate will not open the Test Booklet until asked to do so by the Invigilator. Do not open/break the seal before the announcement.

Instructions Regarding Answer Sheet

4Candidate must read the instruction given in the answer sheet carefully.

5. In case the candidate finds any defect in the answer sheet, he / she should request the invigilator to change the same.  

6. Candidate shall fill in his / her Name, Roll No, Test Book let number and set of question printed on the front page of question booklet Part-1 in the  proper blocs as mentioned on the answer sheet.

7. Use Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only to darken the appropriate circle. Darken only one circle for each entry as the Answer once marked is not liable to be changed.

8. If more than one circle is darkened or if the responses are marked in any other manner it shall be treated as wrong way of marking and shall be rejected by the Scanner / Authority.

9. The candidate is advised to decide about the answer before he/she marks it on the answer sheet. He/she must ensure that the circle is completely darkened with blue/black ball pen only. A lightly or faintly darkened circle will be rejected by the optical Scanner/Authority.

10. The candidate will not do any rough work on the Answer Sheet. All rough work is to be done in the Test Booklet itself.

11. The candidates must sign twice on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place. Firstly, immediately after commencement of the Examination and for the second time while handing over the Answer Sheet to the Invigilator. The candidates are also required to put their left hand thumb impression in the space provided in the Attendance Sheet.

How to download JEE Main Admit Card 

1. Login to the official website http://jeemain.nic.in

2. Click on the Admit card download link, then new page appear on the screen.

3. Enter to the details of "Application Number" and "Password", after clicking the button "Login".

4. Entry's are correct , new page appear in the screen, enter 12 board roll number and proceed to download.
