The BSEB Board, Patna has successfully conducted the Plus Two examination as per the scheduled time table . Every year lakhs of candidates appears for the Bihar Inter examination, this year nearly 12 lakhs students appeared Intermediate examination. Bihar Board Intermediate Result 2018
The Higher Secondary Education Examination conducted by the BSEB Board , State Government of Bihar. The goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and Research unit of State Education is to achieve academic excellence by conceptualizing policies and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programmes. The Scheme of Examinations and Pass Criteria for All Standard 12th Examination conducted by the Board, shall be as laid down from time to time.
The Intermediate must be obtained at the end of term of study at the secondary education after which a student can study at a higher secondary school, which is sometimes called a Intermediate, for two years. After this Twelve-Year period of study student may enter a university of for Under Graduate Studies.The Examination would be conducted in theory as well as in practicals, depending upon the nature of the subject(s) and the marks/grades allotted shall be as prescribed in the curriculum. Awarding the grades the Board shall put all the passed students in a rank order.
Previously at High Secondary level there were different streams of education name Arts, Science, Technical Education, Commerce ..etc. The board is introduced new pattern. There is no choice from several streams instead there are 6 compulsory subjects viz state language, Hindi, One other Language, Social Science, Science, Mathematics and one subject of moral, Physical. The High School examination of both classes.

The Board has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidates February / March of the examination of August in September month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the August examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself.
