The CBSE-Board has successfully conducted the Secondary School Examination as per the scheduled time table . Every year lakhs of candidates appears for the 10th examination for all regions , this year nearly 16 lakhs students appeared 10th Board examination. The board regulates and supervises the system of secondary education in the state , executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting internal and final examinations. Keeping in mind the increased number of registered students for Board exam, the authority is anticipating the pass percentage and success ratio of students to be higher compared to last year.

The Scheme of Examinations and Pass Criteria for All India/Delhi Senior School Certificate and All India/Delhi Secondary Examinations conducted by the Board, shall be as laid down from time to time.The Examination would be conducted in theory as well as in practicals, depending upon the nature of the subject(s) and the marks/grades allotted shall be as prescribed in the curriculum.Marks/grades shall be awarded for individual subjects and the aggregate marks shall not be given.The goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and Research unit of Central Board of Secondary Education is to achieve academic excellence by conceptualising policies and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programmes. 

Assessment of theory/practical papers in external subjects shall be in numerical scores. In addition to numerical scores, the Board shall indicate grades in the marks sheets issued to the candidates in case of subjects of external examinations. In case of Internal assessment subjects only grades shall be shown. The qualifying marks in subject of external examination shall be 33% at Secondary/Senior School Certificate Examinations. However at Senior School Certificate Examination, in a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate, in order to qualify in the subject , for awarding the grades the CBSE Board shall put all the passed students in a rank order and will award grades as follows.

About CBSE Board-Result 2019

The central Board of Secondary Education popularly known as CBSE is Board of Education for public and private schools under the union Government of India. The first education board to be set up in India was the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921, which was under jurisdiction of Rajputana, central India and Gwalior in 1929 the government of India set up Joint Board name " Board of High School and Inter Education, Rajputana. This included Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior later it was confined to Ajmer, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh. In 1952 it became a CBSE. There are 1113 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 2635 Government / Aided schools, 13657 Independent schools, 587 Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalayas and 14 central Tibetan Schools.

In order to execute its functions effectively, Regional Offices have been set up by the Board in different parts of the country to be more responsive to the affiliated schools. The Board has regional offices in Allahabad, Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Panchkula, Patna and Trivanthapurm. Schools located outside India are looked after by regional office Delhi. CBSE conducts the final examination for class 10th and class 12th every year. The Board earlier conducted the JEE for admission to Under Graduate courses in Engineering, Architecture in colleges across India. CBSE also conducts the National Eligibility Test for Master Degree, Ph.D programmes and Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET).

The above table shows the number of candidates appeared in the final examination, total pass percentage of girls, total pass percentage of girls and overall pass percentage of result. In the year 2016, an number of students appeared for the examination 13,73,853 which 96.11 were boys and 96.36 were girls and the overall percentage is 96.21.  While are talking about the year 2017 for the same thing a number  of students appeared for the examination 16,67,573 which 90.13 were boys and 90.85 were girls and the overall percentage is 90.95. It is clear that the percentage of the Results is decrease 6% for 2016 to 2017 year.

How to Check CBSE  Results 2019 Class 10th Via Online

Step-1 : Logging to the official website

Step-2 : Enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy) and School Number (As given on your Admit card)

Step-3 : After enter the details click on the "Submit" button

Step-4 : Entry's are correct result along with marks will be displayed.

Step-5 :  if entry's are  incorrect, click on reset button, again fill the required details, then  click submit button .    

 Step-6 : Save it, download it and print a copy for further use

The Board would be disseminating its result through marks also the telephone numbers NIC and MTNL

Check Results  Via SMS

Those students who have no facility for the internet they can use this mode to find out their result through an SMS. The students can easily get their class 12th results declared by the board. The students need to enter their date of birth, hall ticket number and send it to the specified number. You can then receive SMS where in check out the result.

Compartment Examination

The Board has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification , the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination.
