OPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 Eligibility 

1. Educational Qualification & Mandatory Requirements

Degree Required: Candidate must hold a Degree in Civil Engineering (for AEE Civil) or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (for AEE Mechanical) from a recognized University/Institution, or be an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers of India (AMIE) in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.

Valid GATE Score: Candidate must possess a valid QR-coded GATE Score Card in Civil / Mechanical Engineering from GATE 2024, GATE 2025, or GATE 2026.

Odia Language Requirement: Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Odia, and must have passed Middle School with Odia as a language subject or passed Matriculation / HSC with Odia as a medium of examination.

2. Age Limit (As on January 1, 2026)

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 42 years (Candidates born between January 2, 1984, and January 1, 2005 are eligible).

Category-wise Upper Age Relaxation:

OPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 Pay Scale & Salary Structure

Selected Assistant Executive Engineers will be appointed in Pay Level-12, Cell-1 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017.

Basic Pay: Starting at ₹56,100 per month

Allowances: Usual Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Allowance, and other perks as applicable to Odisha State Government Group 'A' Officers.

Selection Process

The selection process for OPSC AEE 2026 is purely merit-based and involves no written test conducted by OPSC.
