SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for SSC CHSL 2026 must satisfy the following conditions as on the prescribed cut-off dates:
1. Educational Qualification (As on October 7, 2026)
For DEO / DEO Grade 'A' :
Must have passed 12th Standard in Science Stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board.
For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade 'A' (All other Departments/Ministries) :
Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Note: Candidates appearing for their 12th Standard exams can apply provided their result is declared on or before October 7, 2026.
2. Age Limit (As on August 1, 2026)
Age Range: 18 to 27 years. Candidates born between August 2, 1999 and August 1, 2008 are eligible.

Selection Process
The selection process for SSC CHSL 2026 consists of two tiers:
