The Board of Secondary Education, Assam has successfully conducted the High School Leaving Certificate Examination as per the scheduled time table . SEBA HSLC Result 2020 School Wise
The High School level examination conducted by the SEBA Board , State Government of school education in Assam class 10th.The goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and Research unit of Assam Education is to achieve academic excellence by conceptualizing policies and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programmes.
The Scheme of Examinations and Pass Criteria for All Standard 10th Examination conducted by the Board, shall be as laid down from time to time. The HSLC must be obtained at the end of term of study at the High school after which a student can study at a higher secondary education, Modern Indian Languages (MIL)-Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Manipuri, Nepal, Khasi, Garo, Mizo, Hmar and Urdu. There will separate question papers for the subjects-Assamese, Bengali, Hindi and Urdu MIL, for Madrassa candidates having 50 marks and Elective languages and Lieu language, there will be common question paper with groups A and B for each language. Candidate appearing for elective subject will have to appear in both groups A and B while for in LIEU language the candidates will have to Appear in Group-A only. About SEBA Result 2020
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam popularly known as SEBA (অসম মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষাপৰিষদ) conducts the HSLC and other examinations. Every year the student strength increasing tremendously. The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up divisional offices of the board. The board also provides affiliation to many schools in all over the state. The Board conducts the examination each year and provide the certification to qualified students.
The Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961 was passed to provide for the establishment of a Board of Secondary Education to regulate, supervise and develop secondary education in the state of Assam. The ACT came into force with effect from 29 January 1962 with the publication of government of Assam. It started functioning with the conduct of 11-year H.S.S.L.C examination of 1962. Institutions for the management and maintenance of which the government or any public body such as the university the state primary education board , a sub divisional primary education board a local board , a municipal board or any such body as is constituted by law for the purpose of importing and managing education of any standards. SEBA Board has successfully conducted the HSLC academic year 2019-2020, now the board going to the final stage, will be released the Assam HSLC Result 2020 in May.

Functions of the Board
- Collecting data relevant to the student appearing for various exams from school.
- To prescribe courses of instruction for examinations
- Conduct examinations of High School examination .
- To prescribe conditions of examinations, conduct examinations and responsible for making necessary arrangements for the same.

In the year 2017, an number of students appeared for the examination 3,72,640 which 46.45 were boys and 59.36 were girls and the overall percentage is 47.94. While are talking about the year 2019 for the same thing a number of students appeared for the examination, which 90.13 were boys and -were girls and the overall percentage is 47.95.
How to Check Assam HSLC Result 2020 Via Online
Step-1 : Logging to the official website

Step-2 : Enter your Roll , Number and Enter the Digit (As given on your webpage)
Step-3 : After enter the details click on the “Submit” button
Step-4 : Entry’s are correct result along with marks will be displayed.
Step-5 : if entry’s are incorrect, click on reset button, again fill the required details, then click submit button.
Step-6 : Save it, download it and print a copy for further use
The Board has ventured to conduct the Supply examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in July month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the July / August examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification, the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination in the month of June.
The Board will be released SEBA HSLC result 2020 along with the total pass percentage of the students, who have written the 10th class exam in 2020 along with pass percentage of the students of Boys and girls separately, district wise merit list, state wise merit list, district wise top-10 number scores and name and state wide top-10 numbers scores and Names. The result contain a name, roll number, father name, total marks, grade…etc.
