Assam State Eligibility Test-Assam SLET 2024- is an State level eligibility / recruitment examination, managed by SLET Commission Assam, Guwahati on behalf of Assam State Government . This examination conducted mainly Eligibility for Assistant Professor Lecturership / Lectures in Universities and Degree colleges in northeastern regions-Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Tripura .
The Eligibility for Assistant Professor will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of SET in aggregate. The candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Governments. Assam SLET Notification 2024
Many candidates are curious about Assam SLET 2024 Notification are to be declared on 1st week or 2nd week of October, 2022 and exam conducted on March / 2024 in Offline as Paper-Pen Based Test (PPT). Aspirants must have completed Post Graduation Degree qualification . Selection of best will be done based on Merit in the written examination, reservation and Document Verification. The qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor / Lecturership only in the universities/ colleges situated in the Assam state from where they have cleared their SET. Eligibility Criteria for Assam SLET 2024
Nationality and Domicile
Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
Educational Qualifications
1. Candidate must have passed the Post Graduate Degree or equivalent examination with 55% marks (BC / SC / ST / PH -50%) or equivalent grade from a recognized University / Institutions.
2. Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination
3. Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Post Graduation only. The candidates, whose Post Graduation subject is not covered in the list of SET subjects may appear in a related subject.

How to Apply-Assam SLET Online Application 2024
Authorization of SLET will be released the Assam SLET 2024 Application form in online mode. In order to apply for Assam SLET 2024 you have to submit application through online at official website. Before applying candidates can fill the registration form, After filling the online application with the required details by using Login Id and Password, After that pay the application fee, then verify all the details carefully and click submit button , filled in Assam SLET Online Application 2024 will generated that contains ” Application Number” along with filled details.
How to Apply : Assam SLET 2024 Registration
1. Visit to the official website https://sletne.org
2. Now Click on the link appearing as “Assam SLET 2024”. A new web page will appear on the screen, click on the ” Apply Online” Link.
3. After clicking the link you will redirected to registration form, fill the details like Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Active E-Mail Id, Working mobile number and choose your “Pass word”.
4.Completing registration details entry, then click ” Register ” button, after your screen will display a message ” you have successful registered for “SLET 2024″. Please note them Application Number, Pass word for future reference.
5. Now click on ” Candidate Login” on the top menu, enter the application number, Pass word and Security code.
6. Entry’s are correct, a new webpage will appear on the screen, click on “Fill up of Application” link.
7. Fill the entire academic, study , reservation and personal details . Upload photo and signature and click “Save” button.
8. This is also a one time procedure. If candidate is sure that all the information correct then click on ” Final submission” link.
9.Candidate has to pay the fee in online mode, click on the ” Online payment” link , fill the required details and pay the application fee
10. Click on appearing as ” Print your Application” link, enter the required details and click submit button. The ID no in PDF application form has to be quoted for future reference.
Test Centers
The candidate should fill the name of one examination centre where she wants to appear in the test. Candidates applying more than one test are advised to opt for the same centre as there is a likelihood of clash of dates and timings. Requests for change of test centre and subject opted by the candidate in the application form will not be considered under any circumstances.

The Test will consist of two papers. All the two papers will have only objective type questions of the following forms

The admit card bear the candidate roll number, name, father name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper with name and address of of examination centre allotted , candidate should carefully examine all the entry’s. Hall ticket will not sent by post.

Candidate can calculate their marks in entrance test, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key. If any candidate has complaints regarding the key questions the same shall be submitted to organizing authority in writing a along with supporting documents being challenges before date of result.
