The CBSE-Board has successfully conducted the Secondary School Examination as per the scheduled CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2023. The Scheme of Examinations and Pass Criteria for All India/Delhi Senior School Certificate and All India/Delhi Secondary Examinations conducted by the Board, shall be as laid down from time to time.The Examination would be conducted in theory as well as in practicals, depending upon the nature of the subject(s) and the marks/grades allotted shall be as prescribed in the curriculum.Marks/grades shall be awarded for individual subjects and the aggregate marks shall not be given. The goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and Research unit of Central Board of Secondary Education is to achieve academic excellence by conceptualizing policies and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programmes.
Assessment of theory/practical papers in external subjects shall be in numerical scores. In addition to numerical scores, the Board shall indicate grades in the marks sheets issued to the candidates in case of subjects of external examinations. In case of Internal assessment subjects only grades shall be shown. The qualifying marks in subject of external examination shall be 33% at Secondary/Senior School Certificate Examinations. However at Senior School Certificate Examination, in a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate, in order to qualify in the subject , for awarding the grades the CBSE Board shall put all the passed students in a rank order and will award grades as given below. About CBSE Board-Result 2023
The central Board of Secondary Education popularly known as CBSE is Board of Education for public and private schools under the union Government of India. The first education board to be set up in India was the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921, which was under jurisdiction of Rajputana, central India and Gwalior in 1929 the government of India set up Joint Board name ” Board of High School and Inter Education, Rajputana. This included Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior later it was confined to Ajmer, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh. In 1952 it became a CBSE. There are 1113 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 2635 Government / Aided schools, 13657 Independent schools, 587 Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalayas and 14 central Tibetan Schools.
In order to execute its functions effectively, Regional Offices have been set up by the Board in different parts of the country to be more responsive to the affiliated schools. The Board has regional offices in Allahabad, Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Panchkula, Patna and Trivanthapurm. Schools located outside India are looked after by regional office Delhi. CBSE conducts the final examination for class 10th and class 12th every year. The Board earlier conducted the JEE for admission to Under Graduate courses in Engineering, Architecture in colleges across India. CBSE also conducts the National Eligibility Test for Master Degree, Ph.D programmes and Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET).

Compartment Examination
The CBSE Board has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification, the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination.
