Goa Common Entrance Test 2022 will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. This examination is the conducted for admission into  Regular Under Graduate courses in Engineering, Pharmacy and other courses at Government / Private colleges in the state of Goa for the academic Session 2022-2023. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for Goa CET 2022 may submit their applications through online mode at official web portal .

GCET Notification 2022

GCET is state level engineering entrance exam for access to Under graduate professional courses, who passed 12th Class or its equivalent examination. Generally GSHSEB issue of notice in the Month of January and offline exam will conducted in April.  Admission to MBBS / BDS BAMS / BHMS courses shall be basis NEET 2022 and candidates interested in applying for Bachelor of Architecture-B.Arch course admission based on NATA  2022  conducted by Council of Architecture, Delhi, separate notice will be issued for above courses. . 

GCET 2022 Eligibility

Nationality :

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality and should belongs to Goa state  

Educational Qualifications :

1. Engineering : Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology, and secured not less than 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only). (or)

Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC). 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. (Or)

International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

2. Diploma / B.SC  Degree : Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering /B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as a subject at 12th , with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC), were eligible for admission to First Year of Engineering Degree Courses, subject to vacancies in First Year, after vacancies at Lateral Entry into Direct Second Year are exhausted.

Min Age : 17 Years on on 31 /August / 2022

Max Age  :  There will be no upper age limit

GCET Online Application form 2022

Authorization of GCET will be released the GCET 2022 Application form in online mode. In order to apply for GCET 2022 you have to submit application through online at official website. Before applying candidates can fill the registration form, After filling the online application with the required details by using Login Id and Password, After that pay the application fee, then  verify all the details carefully and click submit button , filled in  GCET Online Application 2022 will generated that contains ” Application Number” along with filled details.

How to Apply :  GCET 2022 Registration

1. Visit to the official website https://www.goa.gov.in

2. Now Click on the link appearing as “GCET 2022”. A new web page will appear on the screen, click on the  ” Apply Online” Link.

3. After clicking the link you will redirected to registration form, fill the details like Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Active E-Mail Id, Working mobile number and choose your “Pass word”.

4.Completing registration details entry, then click ” Register ” button, after your screen will display a message ” you have successful registered for “GCET  2022″. Please note them Application Number, Pass word for future reference.

5. Now click on ” Candidate Login” on the top menu, enter the application number, Pass word and Security code.

6. Entry’s are correct, a new webpage will appear on the screen, click on  “Fill up of Application” link.

7. Fill the entire academic, study , reservation and personal details . Upload photo and signature and click “Save” button.

8. This is also a one time procedure. If candidate is sure that all the information correct then  click on ” Final submission” link. 

9.Candidate has to pay the fee in online mode, click on the ” Online payment” link , fill the required details and pay the application fee 

10. Click on appearing as ” Print your Application” link, enter the required details and click submit button. 

11. Filled application form original, DD original and attach related documents (certificates) should be sent by post or in person to the authorization of GCET.

GCET 2022 Exam Pattern

The entrance test conducted in Offline as Paper-Pen Based Test . The paper will consist of 75 objective type and Multiple choice questions in 2- hours duration. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded 1 mark and No negative marks . The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks.
