Himchal Pradesh Common Entrance Test- HPCET 2019 will be regulated by Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur on behalf of State Government, for who are looking for the admissions into B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda), M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MCA, MCA courses offered by Universities and affiliated professional colleges across the state for the academic session 2019-2020. Eligible candidates may apply entrance test through online Application form only through the official website on or before last date.
HPCET is state level entrance exam for access to Under and Post graduate professional courses who passed 12th / Graduation or its equivalent examination. Generally HIMTU issue of notice in the Month of March and Offline exam will conducted in April. Admission to MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS courses shall be basis NEET 2019, separate notice will be issued for counselling for above courses.

Eligibility Criteria for HPCET 2019
Nationality and Domicile
1. Candidate should should be of Indian Nationality.
2. Candidate should be belong to the state of Himachal Pradesh and should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements.
1. B.Tech (Direct Entry) :
Candidates should have Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject securing at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
2. B.Pharmacy (Direct Entry) :
Candidate should have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject securing at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Age Limit
should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
3. B.Pharmacy ( Ayurveda) :
Candidate should have Passed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
4. M.Tech
Recognized Bachelor‘s degree or equivalent in the relevant field having at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
5. M.Pharmacy
Recognized Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent having at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
6. MBA
Recognized Bachelor‘s degree of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
7. MCA
Recognized Bachelor‘s degree of minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level securing at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
8. Candidate who are appearing / appeared for the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply for the entrance test. Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.

How to Apply-HPCET 2019 Online application form
The organizing authority will be released the HPCET Application form 2019 in the month of January so candidates after satisfying the eligibility criteria , can apply online mode only from official website on or before last date.The registration process will be held in the 1st phase the aspirants are required to pay the application fee in DD, After applicant has to register for before filling the application, then login using the application number and password. After filling the application, then pay the fee (Online mode). Filled in application will be generated which contains Registration Number along with filled in details, candidate shall take printout of the application and store it for future reference step by step process given below
Step-1 : Open Account (Registration)
1. Login to the official website http://www.himtu.ac.in
2. Click on the link “Apply Online” . A new web page will appear on the screen, read the instructions carefully.
3. Now click on the link “ Registered Now” appearing as left on the screen.
4. After clicking the link you will redirected to Account Registration form page, fill the details are Candidate name, Date of Birth, Father Name, Mother Name as it is in the 10th Standard Marks list, Active E-Mail Id, Working Mobile Number, choose User Id , Pass word and Answer the secret question.
5. Completing registration details entry, then click ” Submit” button, after successful registration candidate will receive on Application Number and User Id to their mobile number and Email- Id and same will be displayed on the screen. Please note them User-Id and Password for future reference.
Step-2 : Login to Fill the Application Form
6. Then click on the link “Login”, fill the User Name, Password and Application Number and Date of Birth .
7. On successful login by the candidates ” Application Form” will be displayed, fill the entire academic, study, reservation and personal details.
Step-3 : Uploading of Photo and Signature
8. After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the Candidate Photograph ( 50 Kb) (3.5*4.5 cm), signature (30 Kb) (3.5*1.5 cm), and click on the “Save” button.
Step-4 : Make Fee Payment
9. Click the “Click here to get Fee Payment Link” Button, two option will appear to make fee payment. “Offline link to generate PNB Challan” and “Online Fee Payment Link” will appear.
E-Challan : If you want to make payment through bank Challan, select Offline link to generate PNB Challan option. PNB challan in triplicate (candidate copy, bank copy and university copy) will be generated. Take the print out of the challan and deposit the Fee in the nearest PNB branch. After depositing the Fee in the bank, re-login in your account at least after 24 hours, and enter transaction number provided by the bank on the PNB Challan in the payment details page and click on Save Payment Details. The form will proceed on confirmation page.
Online Payment : If you want to make fee payment through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking, select ” Online Fee Payment” link, then fill the required details and make payment.
Step-5 : Confirmation
10. In case you intend to make correction on the confirmation page, click on “Edit” button. The data filled by you will appear in editable form. Make the necessary correction and click on Update Details” button to save the changes. Now click the “Final Submit” button. It may be ensured before you click the “Final Submit” button that all the applicable fields have been filled correctly.
Step-6 : Print the Application
11. Click on appearing as “Print” link, enter required details, click submit button, and take the printout of filled application.
Step-7 : Send Filled Online Application to HPTU
Print out of the Application Form (PDF) and get it signed from your parents /guardian and send it duly scanned through e-mail ID himtuadmission@gmail.com.

Hall tickets
The organizing authority will provide facility of downloading online admit cards of entrance exam on the official website tentatively from 2nd week of May. Hall ticket will not sent by post / e-mail.
Results
The board will conduct the entrance examination. evaluate the answer sheets and likely to declare the result by the last week of May and same will hosted on the website. There will be combined merit list along the category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the said examination.
Answer Key
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will publish the answer key of the test in the official website. Candidate can calculate their marks in entrance test, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key
Counselling
The counselling schedule score wise along with venue will be notifies by the organizing authority after declaration of result, of the entrance test. Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choice, reservation and state rank of HPCET 2019 through a web counseling to be announced later.
