JEXPO 2023, WB Polytechnic 2023 : West Bengal State Council of Technical Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTE) on behalf of WB State Government will soon announce the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics-WB Polytechnic 2023. Eligibility Criteria for JEXPO 2023
Nationality and Domicile
Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
Educational Qualifications & Age Limit
Diploma in Engineering & Technology :
The candidate should have passed 10th class (Madhyamik) or equivalent examination with minimum 35% aggregate. The subjects English, Mathematics and Physical Science/ Science/ Science & Technology among others as subjects, from any recognized Board or its equivalent.
Age Limit
No upper age limit, but candidate’s date of birth should not be after 01.07.2008.
Part Time Morning Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Civil Engineering
Schedule Tribe (ST) Candidates, who passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board or its equivalent.

Date of Birth should not be after 01.07.2008
Part Time Diploma in Mining Engineering
The sponsored candidates from M/s Eastern Coalfield Limited (ECL) should have passed Madhyamik / Secondary / equivalent examination with Physical Science and Mathematics and must possess at least 3 years’ post qualification working experience in Mining related jobs. OR
Pass in Higher Secondary examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must possess one year post qualification working experience in the related Mining field.OR
Pass in Madhyamik / Secondary / equivalent examination with Physical Science and Mathematics and three years’ post qualification working experience in the related Mining field.
Age Limit
Not below 19 years as on 01.01.2023
Part Time Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Passed 10th Standard / SSC examination and 2 Year ITI after 10th Standard.

How to Apply-JEXPO Online application form 2023
The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria entrance exam, can apply online mode only.The registration process will be held in two phases, in the 1st phase the aspirants are required to pay the application fee while in the second phase, the candidates can fill the JEXPO Online application 2023 and submit it. Candidate shall take printout of the application and store it for future reference.
1.Logging to the official website https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, click on the “Online Application for JEXPO 2023 “.
2. Now click on the link ” Click Here to Apply”, a new page appear on the screen, read the instructions before filling the application.
3. After Select the course, click on the “Apply for Diploma courses”. Diploma in Engineering / Technology /Mining Engineering .
4. After clicking the link you will redirected to Candidate Application page, fill the entire academic, study, reservation and personal details.
5. After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the Candidate Photograph , signature and click on the ” Save and Proceed to Next Step ” button. Once the application is save an application number will be generate, please note them for future reference.
6. After , take a printout of bank challan by clicking Print Bank Challan link.
7. Deposit application fee along with the generated challan in any bank.
8. Again login to the official website, click “online application for Diploma”, after click on the link ” Applicant Login” appearing as top menu bar.
9. After new page appear on the screen enter Application number and Date of Birth and click Sign in.
10.After click on the ” Enter Fee payment details” button, fill the required details and click submit. Take two copies of printout of filled application . Put your left thumb impression in the given space provided in the print application.
JEXPO Exam Centers
The candidate should fill the name of examination centre where he / she wants appear in the test. Examination centre once opted by the candidate shall not be changed under any circumstances, however board reserves the right to allot any centre in view of the exigencies.

The organizing authority will provide facility of downloading online admit cards of entrance exam on the official website tentatively from 4th week of April. The admit card bear the candidate roll number, name, father name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper with name and address of of examination centre allotted , candidate should carefully examine all the entry’s. Hall ticket will not sent by post.

Candidate can calculate their marks in entrance test, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key. If any candidate has complaints regarding the key questions the same shall be submitted to organizing authority in writing a along with supporting documents being challenges before date of result.

There will be combined merit list along the category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the said examination.
