Eligibility Criteria for Kerala TET 2019 

Recruit the above teacher jobs shall be made on the basis of merit of Tet exam to be conducted by the authority for which candidates are eligible Category-1, Category-2, Category-3, Category-4, subject to fulfillment of the following conditions.

Category-1 : Lower Primary Classes : 


 Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) (by whatever name known) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. (OR)

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (OR)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). (OR)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Category 2: Upper Primary Classes : 

B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’Certificate (TTC) (by whatever name known) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. (OR)

B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).(OR)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education(B.El.Ed). (OR)

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed. (OR)

Category 3 : High School Classes

BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto).

For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life.

Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply.

BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and who passed in LTTC are eligible to apply.

Category 3 : Language Teachers

Language teachers in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers (up to High School level).

How to Apply-Kerala TET 2019 Application Form

The authority will released the TET applications in online mode in the month September tentatively, applicants must be check the eligibility fulfillment of examination before submission of  application forms. First of each candidate are required to pay the application fee , after that you will able to fill the online application submit at Official web portal. All the aspirants willing to participate in the exam had to submit their applications before last date, any applicant submitted after the last date of registration,  have not been accepted by authority.


Fill up of  Kerala TET 2019 Online Application

Step-1 : Fee Payment


1. Logging to the official website https://ktet.kerala.gov.in, click on the KTET 2019 and Online Application.

2. After clicking the link you will redirected to Candidate Payment page, fill the details are Candidate name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name as it is in the SSLC / 10th Standard Marks cards, Active E-Mail Id, Working Mobile Number, choose User Id , Pass word and Answer the secret question. Completing registration details entry, then click ” Submit” button.

3.If the fee is paid through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, the payer will gets a Transaction Id which can be used for the reference to enter the second step of online application.

4. If the fee is paid through Chelan i.e., by taking the print out of the Chalan from the website and remit the amount to any of the branches of SBT. The SB collect reference No which is printed in the Challan can be used for the reference to enter the second step of online application.

Step-2 : Fill the KTET 2019 Online Application

5. Then a Login Prompt will be displayed and candidates are required to enter the Transaction-Id / SBI-Collect Reference No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number in the Login. screen.

6. On successful login by the candidates ” Personal details” will be displayed, fill the entire academic, study, reservation and personal details.

7. Medium in which candidate desires to appears for the test, Name of the Native District as per study, Reservation  Under Special category, category course opted.

Step-3 : Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

8. After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the  Candidate Photograph (3.5*4.5 cm), signature (3.5*1.5 cm) and click on the “Submit” button.

Step-4 : Download Confirmation page / Generate Application Form

9. Click on appearing as “Print” link, enter the required details, click submit button.

Validity period of  Kerala TET Certificate 

The Validity Period of KTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.


Kerala TET 2019 Exam pattern 


The TET Exam 2019 will be held on Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Paper-4 and conducted in Offline as Paper-Pen Based Test, each paper contain 150 multiple choice questions. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded 1 mark. The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks and the exam duration 2 & 1/2 hours. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Admit Card


The authority will be released the admit cards of  KTET 2019 exam in online mode in the month of May tentatively. The Admit card will issued only to those candidates whose application form has been accepted by the examination authority. The admit card contain in  candidate roll number, name, father name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper with name and address of of examination centre allotted , candidate should carefully examine all the entry’s, if any errors, candidate should inform organizing authority immediately. Hall ticket is necessary document to sitting in the examination hall, candidates the download the admit card with the stipulated duration and preserve the print out till recruitment process is over.

Answer Key 

The authority will publish the answer key of the test in the official website. Kerala TET exam 2019 response sheet answers will be released in two stages, that is provisional and final. Candidates can calculate their marks in examination, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key. Candidates will also able to challenge the provisional answer key, if they have valid proof that a particular question or answer is wrong. The final answer key will be released after considering all the objections raised by all the participate candidates. The key will help the appeared candidates to know how to derive the answers and how to calculate the estimate scores. Candidates who want to download the key need to visit website.

Results

Kerala TET Results will issued by the organizing authority of examination in online mode.  Evaluate the response sheets and likely to declare the result, after successfully conducted the examination and same will hosted on the website. There will be combined merit list along the category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the said examination. The result contain candidate name, Father name, category, caste, date of birth, marks, paper name, address and other details. All the participate candidates can login with their registration and password to check their result .

Cut Off   

The cutoff marks for  Kerala TET 2019 Exam will be publish by authority after declaration of results, the cutoff are very important for each appearing candidate. The cutoff scores depending on the requirement and the factors affecting cutoff scores. Candidate securing the marks as per the cutoff will be declared the qualified candidates and get shortlisted for further selection. The cutoff will be on the basis of number of applicants, complexity of this exam , category and other factors. Candidates who can get minimum qualifying marks, authority will be called next stage. The passing marks in each of the tests will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level. Candidates are also required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon).
