Karnataka Management Aptitude Test-KMAT is an state level entrance examination, organized by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), Govt of Karnataka, Bangalore. Admissions in Post Graduate Professional Courses Viz MBA, PGDM and MCA in 169+Member B-Schools of KPPGCA located across the Karnataka which are affiliated to respective universities for the academic year 2019-2020. KMAT 2019 will be conducted in May, as offline Paper-Pencil Based Test. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their application through online at official website http://www.kmatindia.com.

Eligibility Criteria for KMAT 2019
Nationality and Domicile
1. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality and should be belong to the state of Karnataka, should satisfy local / non-local status requirements.
MBA / PGDM : Bachelors Degree with minimum 3-years duration / Masters degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce / Management / Arts / Social Sciences / Engineering / Technology or equivalent and have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for SC / ST).
MCA : Bachelors Degree with 50% marks. Candidates should have studied Maths at 10+2 stage or graduation level.
Application Fee and Payment
1. Registration fee is Rs 1000 /- for all category candidates.
2. Application fee an be by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalized bank in favour of the payable at Bangalore or through Online payment.
3. Candidates who want to take up both the MBA and the MCA test will have register for each test separately.

How to Apply-Online application form for KMAT 2019
How to Apply- KMAT 2019 Application form-Offline
1. Login to the official website, download the application form.
2. Fill the required details and paste a recent passport size photo & sign where signature is provided.
3. Pay the the application fee 1000/- through Demand Draft, DD should be made in favor of ” KMAT 2019″ and should be payable at Bangalore.
4. Post / Courier the application along with the original DD to the below address.

Step-1 Payment of Application fee
Candidate has to pay the fee in offline through DD (Demand Draft) or online mode (Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking / Wallets/ other type online payment) , click on the ” Online payment” link , then fill the required details and click ” Make payment ” link.
Step-2 Fill up of Online application
1. Login to the official website http://www.kmatindia.com, click on the link “Apply Now” appearing as top menu.
2. Read all the instructions to fill up the form, Now click on the “Continue fill Application“ link.
5. Finally click submit button,take the printout application mentioning the ” Application Number” (Registration Id).
Step-3 : Print the Application
6. Click on appearing as ” Print Your Application” link, enter the required details and click submit button.
Step-4 : Send Filled application form with enclosures to Authority
12. Filled application form print along with Original DD should be sent by post or courier or in person to below address on or before April / 2019.

Verbal Ability & Ready Comprehension
English Language Ability would be tested through questions on Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension of Passages.etc. There would be questions on understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills. This shall include the passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension.
Logical and Abstract Reasoning
This shall include questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. The section may have questions insets well individual ones based on verbal Reasoning , analogy among others.
Quantitative Ability
The questions in this section will be matriculation standard. This shall include questions to know how fast and accurate you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various Arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion , percentage, interest, time & speed etc. Apart from Arithmetic, the questions may also be based on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and parts of Mathematics. This test also helps to measure you power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, Common graphs & charts.
Exam Pattern for KMAT 2019
The entrance examination will consist of single paper of 2-hours (120 Minutes) duration and having 120 objective type & multiple choice questions, +1 mark for each correct answer, there is no negative marking.

Answer Key
The authority will publish the answer key of the test in the official website. Candidate can calculate their marks in entrance test, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key. If any candidate has complaints regarding the key questions the same shall be submitted to organizing authority in writing a along with supporting documents being challenges before date of result.
