KVS Admission 2023-2024 : Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released admission notification for the academic session 2023-2024. Online Applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admissions into 1st Class to 11th Class in Kendriya Vidyalayas across the India for the academic session 2023-24. While for class 1 admission registration has begin from 27th, March 202310:00 AM and will close at 07:00 pm on 17.04.2023,   for class 2 onwards registration has begin on 3rd, April 2023. However, admission for class 2 and above will only be done if vacancies exist. Age will be calculated as on 31 March 2023. so who are eligible and interested candidates, can submit their applications through Online mode, from official website https://kvsangathan.nic.in. Eligibility Criteria for KVS Admission 2023

Nationality and Domicile

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualifications

1.For admission to Class I, the child should have passed kindergarten or equivalent from a recognized institution. For admission to higher classes, the child should have passed the previous class from a recognized school.

2. The students of State Boards/ICSE/NIOS may be considered for admission in class XI if vacancies exist.

Age Limit On 31 March 2023

A Child must be 6 years old for Class I as on 31st March in the academic year 2023-2024

Reservation criteria

KVs have a reservation policy for certain categories, which include Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The percentage of reserved seats may vary from one KV to another.

Fresh admissions to class X & XII 

Fresh admissions to class X & XII, other than KV students, will be entertained subject to availability of vacancies.only if, the average strength in class X/XII is below 40. This will further be subject to the following conditions.

1.The child has been in the same course of studies i.e. in a CBSE affiliated school.

2. For Class X, the child must have obtained not less than 55% marks in aggregate in class IX.

3. For admission to class XII, 55% marks in class XI examination is mandatory.

4. The combinations of subjects opted by the student are available in Kendriya Vidyalayas.

How to Apply- Application form for  KVS Admission 2023

The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria KVS Admission Admissions, can apply online mode at official website only.  Candidate has to register for before filling the application then login the Application Number and Password. After filling the application form and submit it. Candidate shall take printout of the application and store it for future reference. KVS Admission Online Application 2023 Procedure given below 

1.Logging to the official website https://kvsangathan.nic.in, click on the “Registration  “.

2. Now click on the link ” Click Here to All Online Application Submission 2023″, a new page appear on the screen, read the instructions before filling the application.

3. After Select the course, click on the “Apply for 1st Class “. 

4. After clicking the link you will redirected to Candidate Application page, fill the entire academic, study, reservation and personal details.

5. After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the Candidate Photograph , signature and click on the ” Save and Proceed to Next Step ” button. Once the application is save an application number will be generate, please note them for future reference. 

6. Again login to the official website, click “online application “, after click on the link ” Applicant Login” appearing as top menu bar. 

7. After new page appear on the screen enter Application number and Date of Birth and click Sign in. 

8. Fill the required details and click submit. Take two copies of printout of filled application . Put your left thumb impression in the given space provided in the print application.
