The BSEM-Board has successfully conducted the Secondary School Examination as per the scheduled time table . BOSEM Exam Result 2019
The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur shortly called as BSEM and was established 1972, has been conducting HSLC and other examinations. Besides the academic activities, the prescription of conditions for granting recognition of standard 1 and VIII was also entrusted to the secondary board. The authority conducts public examination at the end of class X for the courses studies in class X only. The board does not conduct any other public examination, however a common question examination at the end of class VIII will be held were the academic session 2010-2011 to maintain uniformity, standard and quality. The schools themselves will conduct examination, check the answer scripts, however the tabulation marks is to be sent up to board and directive of education (schools), government of Manipur.
Present 786 High and High Secondary schools, 226 Government schools, 103 Government Aided and 457 Private schools. The board functions extensively and covers wide area including every aspect of education. They leave no stone upturned to provide maintenance education to the studies. The board also arranges for the preparation , compilation, improvement publication, printing and distribution of text books also done by board. BSEM also provides affiliation to many schools in all over the state. The Board conducts the examination each year and provide the certification to qualified students. Responsibilities of the Board
- Grant and withdraw recognition to the Secondary Schools.
- Advise the government on matters of policy relating secondary and higher secondary education in general and other matters.
- Lay down guiding principles regarding curricula and syllabus for entire secondary and higher secondary courses and to prepare the detailed syllabus for all standards of 10th .
- Advise the Government in standard requirement in respect of staff, buildings, furniture, equipment , stationery and other amenities required for HSSLC schools.
- Prescribe and prepare text-books for all standards of secondary and higher secondary educations.
- Prescribe conditions for admission of regular and private candidates to the final examinations.
- Declare the results of the candidates at the final examination.

The above table shows the number of candidates appeared in the final examination, total pass percentage of girls, total pass percentage of girls and overall pass percentage of 10th results. In the year 2016, an number of students appeared for the examination 32033 which 65.15 were boys and 69.65 were girls and the overall percentage is 65.37. While are talking about the year 2017 for the same thing a number of students appeared for the examination 34829 which 65.78 were boys and 69.84 were girls and the overall percentage is 67.04, it is clear that the percentage of the Result is increase day by day.

The Board has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification, the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for compartment examination.
The Goa Board will be released Manipur 10th Result 2019 along with the total pass percentage of the students, who have written the 10th along with pass percentage of the students of Boys and girls separately, state wise merit list, top-10 number scores and name and state wide top-10 numbers scores and Names.
