The PSEB Board has successfully conducted the High School Examination as per the scheduled time table . The High School examination conducted by the Punjab Secondary Education Board, governmental board of school education in Punjab state class 10th, the goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programmes. The Examination would be conducted in theory as well as in practicals, depending upon the nature of the subject(s) and the marks/grades allotted shall be as prescribed in the curriculum.
The Scheme of Examinations and Pass Criteria for All Standard 10th Examination conducted by the Board, shall be as laid down from time to time. The 10th must be obtained at the end of term of study at the secondary school after which a student can study at a higher secondary school, which is sometimes called a Senior Secondary / +2 / Intermediate, for two years. After this Twelve-Year period of study student may enter a university of for Under Graduate Studies. Awarding the grades the Board shall put all the passed students in a rank order / Grades. About PSEB Result 2019
Punjab School Education Board shortly called as PSEB and was established in November 1969, for development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab , Vidhan Sabha amended the boards ACT to grant it autonomy the scope of Boards. Due to the increasing number of students per year, the work load is also increased and the board is handling all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes 1-12th Class It examines those who have completed a prescribed course of X, XI,XII study and awards certificates to the successful candidates.
The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up divisional offices of the board, for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Higher Secondary, High Schools and Private schools to the state government and for carrying out such other duties assigned to the council by the state Govt from time to time. Today the board is entrusted to meet the demands of modern day education which has undergone rapid change in a highly globalized environment. Functions of the Board

Compartment Examination
Regular / Private Candidates failing in any one subject in external examination shall be eligible for supplementary examination in that subject, for subjects containing both theory examination. Candidate both theory in the examination shall be eligible for supplementary examination in the respective examination only. The PSEB has ventured to conduct the Supply examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification , the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination.
The Board will be released PSEB 10th Results 2019 along with the total pass percentage of the students, who have written the Matric exam in 2019 along with pass percentage of the students of Boys and girls separately, state wise merit list, State Wide Combined Merit list, top-10 number scores and name and state wide top-10 numbers scores and Names.
