The PSEB has successfully conducted the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination as per the scheduled time table . Every year lakh of candidates appears for the 12th and 11th examination for all districts, this year nearly 4 lakhs students appeared +2 Board examination. The Senior Secondary examination conducted by the Secondary Education , Governmental board of school education in Punjab state class 12th, the goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. About PSEB +2 Result 2023
Punjab School Education Board shortly called as PSEB and was established in November 1969, for development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab , Vidhan Sabha amended the boards ACT to grant it autonomy the scope of Boards. Due to the increasing number of students per year, the work load is also increased and the board is handling all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes 1-12th Class It examines those who have completed a prescribed course of X, XI,XII study and awards certificates to the successful candidates.
The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up divisional offices of the board, for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Higher Secondary, High Schools and Private schools to the state government and for carrying out such other duties assigned to the council by the state Govt from time to time. Today the board is entrusted to meet the demands of modern day education which has undergone rapid change in a highly globalized environment. Functions of the Board
- To make necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of public examination at school level. At present the Board conducts public examinations at Middle, Matriculation and Senior Secondary Level.
- To prescribe the curriculum, courses of studies and text books for school education. The Board has a full- fledged academic wing, having subject experts in all the major subjects
- The main responsibility of this wing is to prepare and revise the syllabuses regularly and then prepare text books accordingly.

- To make necessary arrangements for affiliations of schools to the Board.
- To make efforts to bring about qualitative improvement in school education.
- To act as an advisory body to the state Govt. regarding School Education this Act.

PSEB Board has conducted in a 11th, 12th examinations and declares PSEB 12th Result 2023 in the month of may every year. The board responsible for determining the policy related administrative, cognitive and intellectual direction of the state wide educational system. In the year 2016, an number of students appeared for the examination 3,18,045 which 67.22 were boys and 79.40 were girls and the overall percentage is 76.77. Compartment Examination
The PSEB has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification , the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination.
The Board will be released PSEB 12th Result 2023 along with the total pass percentage of the students, who have written the 11th, 12th class exam in 2023 along with pass percentage of the students of Boys and girls separately, state wise merit list, top-10 number scores and name and state wide top-10 numbers scores and Names.
