The DGE has successfully conducted the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination as per the scheduled time table . Every year lakh of candidates appears for the 10th examination for all districts , this year nearly 10 lakhs students appeared Secondary Board examination. The board regulates and supervises the system of Secondary and Higher Secondary education in the state , executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting internal and final examinations. Keeping in mind the increased number of registered students for Board exam, the authority is anticipating the pass percentage and success ratio of students to be higher compared to last year.

The Secondary School level examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Board , governmental board of school education in TN state class 10th, the goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The 10th must be obtained at the end of term of study at the secondary school after which a student can study at a higher secondary school, which is sometimes called a Senior Secondary / +2 / Intermediate, for two years. After this Twelve-Year period of study student may enter a university of for Under Graduate Studies. About TN 10th Results 2023
Directorate of Government Examination Simply called as DGE and was established Feb, 1975, It regulates, controls and developers, secondary education and Higher Secondary education in the state. It provides varied courses in orders to equip students for different occupations to prepare them for university education and to equip them for university education and to equip them for various culture purposes. It examines those who have completed a prescribed course, study and awards certificates to the successful candidates. The first Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination in the year 1911.
The board is handling all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes, including Secondary and Higher Secondary. The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up divisional offices of the board name as Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelvelli, Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore,for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Higher Secondary, High Schools and Private schools to the state government and for carrying out such other duties assigned to the council by the state Govt from time to time.
