SSC Time table 2020 Telangana
The Board of Secondary Education Telangana State shortly called as BSETS / SSC Board / DGE and was established on 2014, located at Hyderabad. The board regulates and supervises the system of secondary education in Telangana state. DGE’s is an independent department functioning under ministry of secondary education, Government of TS. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations , granting affiliations to schools and its also runs model schools. It examines those who have completed a prescribed course, study and awards certificates to the successful candidates.
The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up Regional Council Offices of the board for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of High Schools and Private schools to the state government and for carrying out such other duties assigned to the council by the state Govt from time to time. Today the board is entrusted to meet the demands of modern day education which has undergone rapid change in a highly globalized environment. We cannot remain aloof and have to be a part of the change. The department is responsible for conducting the SSC / OSSC Public Examinations and a number of minor examinations like DED, LPCET, Technical certificate course tests.
Main functions of the DGE
1.Collecting data relevant to the student appearing for various exams from school.
2. Constitution of centers to conduct the exam.
3. Printing and supply of question papers to the exam centers.
4. Supply of stationary articles to the exam centers
5. Collection of private candidates data through nodal centre via online.
6. Supply of printed nominal Roll of candidates registered for the exam and issue of hall tickets to private candidates.
7. Appointment officials to conduct the exam at various centers , based on the proposals received from inspecting officers.
8. It regulates examinations for both regular and private candidates.
