Generally authority give the HP Polytechnic Admission 2019 examination details in the month of April, exam will be conducted in the month of May, for who are looking for the admissions into 1st year Engineering, Architecture Assistantship Fashion & Design , Hotel Management & Catering Technology & Fashion Designing Diploma courses at Government and private (Un- Aided) Polytechnics across the state for the academic year 2019-2020. 2. Candidate should be belong to the state of Himachal Pradesh or have studied till class 10th in HP state.
Educational Qualifications
1. Candidates should have passed 10th standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Science and English from any recognized Board / University or its equivalent.
2. Candidates should obtained a minimum at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination (10th).
3. Candidate who are appearing / appeared for the matriculation are also eligible to apply for the entrance test. Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.
1. The General category candidates should pay the application fee of Rs 650/– while the SC / ST / OBC category candidates have to pay Rs 400/-
2. The payment of registration fee would be through online Payment (Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card) as well as through Bank Challan / Demand Draft (DD) .

How to Apply- HP PAT (Polytechnic) 2019 Online Application form
The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria PAT Exam, can apply online mode only.The registration process will be held in two phases, in the 1st phase the aspirants are required to pay the application fee while in the second phase, the candidates can fill the online application and submit it. Candidate shall take printout of the application and store it for future reference. Application process given below
1. Logging to the official website http://hptechboard.com , click on the “Online Admission PAT 2019 “.
2. Now click on the link ” New User Registration”, after clicking the link you will redirected to Candidate Registration page, fill the details are Candidate name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name as it is in the 10th Standard Marks cards, Active E-Mail Id, Working Mobile Number, choose User Id , Pass word and Answer the secret question.
3. Completing registration details entry, then click “Submit” button, after successful registration candidate will receive on Application Number and User Id to their mobile number and Email- Id and same will be displayed on the screen. Please note them User-Id and Password for future reference.
Step-2 : Fill up of Online Application
4. Then a Login Prompt will be displayed on the home page and candidates are required to enter the User ID and Password created by them and Login.
5. Reading all the instructions, clicking on the link “Apply Online”, after clicking the link you will redirected to Candidate Application page, fill the entire academic, study, reservation and personal details.
Step-3 : Uploading of Photo and Signature
6. After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the Candidate Photograph , signature and click on the ” Save and Proceed to Next Step ” button.
Step-4 : Fee Payment
7. After clicking on the button, in the Declaration candidate will be directed to the payment tab.
8. The fee can be remitted through Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking or through Banking Challan by depositing fee in State Bank of Patiala.
Step-5 : Print the Application
9. Click on appearing as “Print” link, enter the required details, click submit button.

1. Hall ticket number / Year of passing , place of study ,percentage for qualifying examination.

Exam Centers
The candidate should fill the name of examination centre where he / she wants appear in the HP Polytechnic 2019. Examination centre once opted by the candidate shall not be changed under any circumstances, however University reserves the right to allot any centre in view of the exigencies.

HP PAT 2019 Exam pattern
The entrance test conducted in Offline as Paper-Pen Based Test . The paper will consist of 150 objective type and Multiple choice questions in 3 hours duration. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded +4 marks and -1 mark will be deducted from score for each wrong answer.

Admit Card
The organizing authority will provide facility of downloading online admit cards of entrance exam on the official website tentatively from 4th week of April. The admit card bear the candidate roll number, name, father name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper with name and address of of examination centre allotted , candidate should carefully examine all the entry’s. Hall ticket will not sent by post.
Answer Key
The authority will publish the answer key of the test in the official website. Candidate can calculate their marks in entrance test, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key. If any candidate has complaints regarding the key questions the same shall be submitted to organizing authority in writing a along with supporting documents being challenges before date of result.
Results
The board will conduct the entrance examination. evaluate the answer sheets and likely to declare the result by the last week of May and same will hosted on the website. There will be combined merit list along the category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the said examination. All the candidates appeared for the entrance test will awarded test wise rank as per marks secured in the test appeared.
Counselling
Counselling would be conducted by the Board in the month of July tentatively. All candidates appearing HP PAT (Polytechnic) 2019 examination must remain in touch with the website of Board.
