Board of Professional Entrance Examinations on behalf of State Government will soon announce the Jammu Kashmir Polytechnic Entrance Test-JK PET 2019 . Generally BOPEE give the JK Diploma Polytechnic Notification 2019 and examination details in the month of March and exam will be conducted in the month of May for who are looking for the admissions into 3-Year Diploma Polytechnic (Engineering) courses in Government / Private Polytechnic colleges across the JK State for the academic session 2019-2020. Eligible candidates may apply entrance test through online Application form only through the official website.

Educational Qualifications
1. Candidate should have passed Secondary School Examination (10th / Matriculation or equivalent examination) from a recognized statutory Board.
2. Candidate should obtained at least 40% marks (37% marks in case of reserved category) in the qualifying examination(10th).
3. The candidates appearing / appeared in the 10th class examination can also apply for entrance test, but they must have passed Science and Maths subjects in 10th class examination at the time of counselling and secured percentage of marks as required.
Age Limit
There is no age limit for appearing in the entrance test for admission to polytechnic courses, both Government and private colleges.

The candidate after satisfying the eligibility criteria PET exam, can apply online/ mode at official website only. Candidate has to register for before filling the application then login the Application Number and Password. After filling the application form , then pay the fee. Candidate shall take printout of the application and store it for future reference. The Application process step by step given below

2. The fee may be paid through Online J&K Bank Integrated Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking) .
1. Logging to the official website http://www.jakbopee.org. Candidate may click the link Diploma Polytechnic (Engineering) Entrance Test-2018 to apply online.
2. After New webpage appear on the screen, the page having various links (E-Notification, E-Brochure….. etc).
3. Then click on the link “E-Application”, a new page appear on the screen, the page display the instructions and two links, read all the instructions before filling the online application.
4. After reading the instructions, click on the link “Register”, appearing as bottom of the page.
5.After clicking the link you will redirected to registration form, fill the details like Candidate Name, Father Name, Gender, Category, Date of Birth, Active E-Mail Id, Working mobile number and Aadhar Card Number.
6. After filling the details, Click on the “Generate Application No” link to get registered and generate an application no, note them Application Number for future reference.
7. Once Application Number is generated, candidate is required to “Login” with Application Number and Date of Birth to complete the form with other details.
11. If all the details are correct then only, candidate should click on “Submit Application Form” button. Candidate has to check mark/accept the declaration given at the button of this page prior to submitting the form.
12. The candidates form will be locked for verification process and Conformation Page in the printable form will be displayed. Candidate is required to click on the “Print” button at the bottom to print the Provisional Confirmation Page and retain the same for future reference purposes/admission procedure.
13. Then candidate should click on “Logout” button to ensure that his / her form credentials are in safe hands.

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during JK Diploma Polytechnic Application form 2019.

Exam Centers
The candidate should fill the name of examination centre where he / she wants appear in the test. Examination centre once opted by the candidate shall not be changed under any circumstances, however autority reserves the right to allot any centre in view of the exigencies.
Exam pattern
The entrance test conducted in Offline as Paper-Pen Based Test . The paper will consist of 180 objective type and Multiple choice questions in 3 hours duration. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded 1 mark and 0.2 mark will be deducted from score for each wrong answer. The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks.

Hall tickets
The organizing authority will provide facility of downloading online admit cards of entrance exam on the official website tentatively from 2nd week of May. Hall ticket will not sent by post / e-mail.
Results
The board will conduct the entrance examination. evaluate the answer sheets and likely to declare the result by the last week of May and same will hosted on the website. There will be combined merit list along the category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the said examination.
Answer Key
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will publish the answer key of the test in the official website. Candidate can calculate their marks in entrance test, after knowing the total number of answers correctly marked by them, with the help of key
Counselling
The counselling schedule score wise along with venue will be notifies by the organizing authority after declaration of result, of the entrance test. Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choice, reservation and state rank of J&K Diploma Polytechnic (PET)-2019 through a web counseling to be announced later.
