The SBSE-Board has successfully conducted the Secondary School Examination as per the scheduled time table . Every year thousands of candidates appears for the 10th examination, this year nearly 30,000 students appeared 10th Board examination. Sikkim SSLC Result 2019
The Sikkim Board of Secondary Education shortly called as SBSE and was established 1979, located at head quarters. It has the power to regulate, supervise and central school education in Sikkim. The Board as an autonomous authority in education started functioning, its primary function is to prepare academic programmes and organize examinations, especially for state level Secondary School Leaving Certificate, an significant development marked the SSLC and HSC examination process with the introduction of centrally coded answer books for centralized.
Today the board is entrusted to meet the demands of modern day education which has undergone rapid change in a highly globalized environment. We cannot remain aloof and have to be a part of the change.In the intense competitive environment we are pacing ourselves with contemporary thoughts. We are encouraging the use of technology and conducting regular training programs for our staff as well as thousands of teachers who are the linchpin of the education system. The board also provides affiliation to many schools in all over the state.
Responsibilities of the Board
- Grant and withdraw recognition to the Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools.
- Advise the government on matters of policy relating secondary and higher secondary education in general and other matters.
- Lay down guiding principles regarding curricula and syllabus for entire secondary and higher secondary courses and to prepare the detailed syllabus for all standards of 10th and 12th.
- Prescribe conditions for admission of regular and private candidates to the final examinations.
- Declare the results of the candidates at the final examination.
Sikkim Board of School Education conducted 10th and 12th examinations and declares results in the month of May / June, every year. The board responsible for determining the policy related administrative, cognitive and intellectual direction of the state educational system. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programme.

The above table shows the number of candidates appeared in the final examination, total pass percentage of girls, total pass percentage of girls and overall pass percentage of 10th results. In the year 2016, an number of students appeared for the examination 45,000 which 85.15 were boys and 85.59 were girls and the overall percentage is 84.72. While are talking about the year 2017 for the same thing a number of students appeared for the examination 43,567 which 86.34 were boys and 87.47 were girls and the overall percentage is 86.78, it is clear that the percentage of the Result is increase day by day.

Step-1 : Logging to the official website http://sikkimhrdd.org
Step-2 : Search for related link
Step-3 : Enter your Roll Number
Step-4 : After enter the detail click on the button“Submit”
Step-5 : Entry are correct result along with marks will be displayed.
Step-6 : if entry’s are incorrect, click on reset button, again fill the required details, then click find results button.
Step-7 : Save it, download it and print a copy for further use
The Board has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification, the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for compartment examination.
The Sikkim Secondary Board will be released results along with the total pass percentage of the students, who have written the 10th along with pass percentage of the students of Boys and girls separately, state wise merit list, top-10 number scores and name and state wide top-10 numbers scores and Names. The result contain a name, roll number, father name, total marks, grade…etc. Candidates can check the result SMS or online modes. The original mark sheet and passing certificate would be collected from the respective colleges / schools.
