UPTET 2022 results announced, 39% qualify primary level-Check

The Examination Regulatory Authority (ERA), UP, has announced the result of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2021, here on Friday.

Secretary ERA, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, said, “Altogether, 39% candidates have qualified the primary level TET while 28% have cleared the upper primary level examination.”

The detailed result has been uploaded on the official website of ERA https://updeled.gov.in/ for the benefit of the candidates,” added Chaturvedi.

He further said that out of 12,91,628 candidates registered for the primary level TET held on January 21, 11,47,090 appeared in the examination. Of these, 4,43,598 (38.67 or 39%) have passed.

Likewise, for upper primary level TET, 7,65,921 candidates appeared in the examination out of 8,73,553 candidates who were registered. Of these, 2,16,994 (28.33 or 28%) have been declared successful, the secretary added. In the revised answer key released on Thursday, it was decided to give marks to all the candidates for five questions of primary and three questions of upper primary level.

According to the government order dated December 22, 2021, the revised answer key was to be declared by Exam Regulatory Authority on February 23, 2022 and the result was to be declared on February 25, 2022. However, the results could not be declared due to the UP assembly elections 2022. But, with Yogi Govt 2.0 being sworn in and basic education minister Sandeep Singh taking charge, a proposal for declaration of UPTET Results 2022.
