When Mohammed Shami stood up to a Pakistan fan who trolled India after Champions Trophy 2017 loss

Mohammed Shami was subjected to online abuse after India lost their T20 World Cup 2021 opener to Pakistan on Sunday in Dubai. Shami faced abuse from trolls and he was even labelled “traitor” by trolls on his Instagram page after Pakistan scripted history.

It was an off day for Mohammed Shami who gave away 44 runs in just 3.5 overs as Pakistan gunned down a total of 152 against India without losing a wicket and with 13 balls to spare. It was Pakistan’s first win after 12 attempts against India in a World Cup fixture.
