Actor Rajinikanth has been admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. According to his team, he has been taken to the hospital for a ‘routine checkup’. He reached the hospital at 4.30 pm on Thursday. His daughter Aishwarya and brother-in-law Ravichandran are with him at the hospital.
“It is a health checkup done routinely on a periodical basis. He is now in a private hospital for the checkup,” the actor’s publicist Riaz K Ahmed was quoted by PTI.
Rajinikanth was in Delhi only a few days ago to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. He had also visited President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital.
