Superstar Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe has successfully brought back people to the theatres after the novel coronavirus pandemic.
In four days, the family entertainer has grossed over Rs 150 crore at the box office worldwide and is still going strong. Directed by Siruthai Siva, Annaatthe is produced on a massive budget by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures.
It has been over a year since Rajinikanth’s film released in theatres. He was last seen in director AR Murugadoss’s Darbar, which received underwhelming reviews. Now, after a year, he is back with Annaatthe, in which he plays a doting brother named Kaalaiyan.
