The BIE Andhra Pradesh Board has successfully conducted the Senior Secondary Examination as per the scheduled AP Intermediate time table 2023 . About AP Junior Inter / Senior Inter Results 2023
The Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh, AP was established in 1971, to regulate and supervise the system of Intermediate education in the state of Andhra Pradesh and to specify the courses of study and matters connected their with offices. Andhra Pradesh is the first state in the country which adopted the 10+2+3 pattern of education. Due to the increasing number of students per year, the work load is also increased and the board is handling all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes 11th, 12th Class It examines those who have completed a prescribed course of XI,XII study and awards certificates to the successful candidates.
The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up divisional offices of the board, for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Higher Secondary and Private / Cooperative Junior colleges to the state government and for carrying out such other duties assigned to the council by the state Govt from time to time. Today the board is entrusted to meet the demands of modern day education which has undergone rapid change in a highly globalized environment. Functions of the Board
- To make necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of public examination at Intermediate level. At present the Board conducts public examinations at General and Vocational in Junior / Senior .
- To prescribe the curriculum, courses of studies and text books for Inter education. The Board has a full- fledged academic wing, having subject experts in all the major subjects
- The main responsibility of this wing is to prepare and revise the syllabuses regularly and then prepare text books accordingly.
- To arrange for the preparations, compilation, improvement, publication, printing and sale of text books.

- To make efforts to bring about qualitative improvement in Intermediate education.
The Intermediate public examination is being conducted 1978-79 both at the end of 1st year course and at the end of 2nd year course . Earlier the public examination was only at the each of second year. Earlier the public examination are examined in Part-I English, Part-II Second Language and Part-III Group subjects for 500 marks in First year and 500 marks in 2nd year in Art’s Group and 470 marks in First year and 530 marks in 2nd year MPC Group and 440 marks in 1st year and 560 marks in 2nd year for the Bi.P.C . The percentage of pass marks in each paper in 35 . The division in which the candidate are placed is decided on the basis of their passing all the papers in the 1st year and in the 2nd year. BIEAP has few changes in AP Intermediate Education for academic year 2017-18, the grading system is only for inter first year, their is no grades for Inter second year marking system.

According to official notification , the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination.
