BSNL launches new promotional Bharat Fiber plan at Rs 399 with 30Mbps speed, check details

Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new promotional broadband plan for Rs 399. The plan is available for new users after which they will be moved to the Rs 449 broadband plan, which has now been regularised. Further the Rs 399 FTTH plan is only available to users in select circles of Gujarat, Tamilnadu, Telangana and Kerala. The plan offers 100GB data with 30 Mbps speed after which it will be reduced to 2 Mbps. BSNL notes that customers opting for the Fibre Experience 399 plan will automatically change to the FIber Basic 449 plan after 6 months.

The plan offers unlimited calls to any network without any additional charges. Customers will be automatically migrated to the Rs 449 plan in case they do not opt for any other plan. Users can subscribe to this plan by visiting the nearest customer service centre or by calling Toll Free number – 1800 345 1500. Kerala Telecom first noted the development.

BSNL Bharat Fibre Rs 449 broadband plan: This plan, also called the Fibre Basic plan offers 30 Mbps speed till 3.3TB speed or 3300GB FUP limit. After the FUP limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps. Users opting for this plan will also get unlimited voice calling to any network within India.

Last year, when Jio introduced its JioFiber broadband plans, the most basic of the plans were priced at Rs 399. The Rs 399 broadband plan comes with truly unlimited internet with a download speed of up to 30Mbps. It ships with unlimited voice calling but no subscription to the OTT platforms. Shortly after JioFIber, Airtel XStream also launched its broadband plans starting at Rs 499.
