Central Govt announces 10 lakh jobs- Defence, railways to have recruitments

The number of 8.7 lakh vacancies came to the forefront when the government already this year told the Parliament about vacant posts in central government departments or organisations .

Now to tackle the massive issue at hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 14  conducted that 10 lakh people be given jobs in the central government in the next 18 months.

This news, while on one hand, brings cheer to the job-starved nation, it may carry suggestive financial implications for the government.
