HPBOSE Board on behalf of state Government is going to organize the annual examination for the appearing students of 10th Class.  The authority will be conducted the annual public examination in the month of March. Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education shortly called as HPBOSE and was established 1969 located head quarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 Officials which has subsequently increased to 643. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and test books for school education in the Hp state besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. The board conducts examination for following classes and courses 10th, 12th, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 lakhs candidate annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. 

The board has set up 1650 examination centres thought the state.Presently more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board. The Board has set up 1846 Examination centres throughout the state. Board also publishes text books for classes 1st to 12th. The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and there results, has set up divisional offices of the board name as Shimla, Mandi. Apart from a liaison office at shimla , the board has also established 19 sale book depots / information centers in the state to cater to the needs of students. Important Instructions For Day of Exam

1. HPBOSE 10th Class Admit card 2022 issued to the candidate is an important document. Candidates are required to preserve it carefully.

2. Candidate shall arrive at the examination hall at-least half on hour before commencement of the examination.

3. Calculators, Slide Rules, Electronic Digital Watches with facilities of calculators, printed or written material and bits papers, mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth or any other electronic gadget are not allowed inside the Examination Hall

4. The examination hall will be opened 1-hour before the commencement of the exam. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall. If the candidates do not report in time, they are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the Examination Hall.

5. A seat indicating roll number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidate should find out and occupy their allotted seat only. Any candidate found to have changed room or the seat on his/her own other than allotted, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and no plea would be accepted for it.

6. Calculators, Slide Rules, Electronic Digital Watches with facilities of calculators, printed or written material and bits papers, mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth or any other electronic gadget are not allowed inside the Examination Hall.

7. Candidate should not talk to another candidate or person inside or outside the examination hall without permission even after a warning by the invigilating staff.
