iPhone 13 models receive certification by Eurasian regulatory months before the expected launch

Apple is gearing up for the launch of the next generation of iPhones expected in September this year. To meet the timeline, the company has already started filing for certification of these smartphones in certain regions.

New online reports reveal that a total of seven new iPhone models have been granted certification by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The certification requires all hardware using encryption technology to be registered in EEC’s database.

The listing reveals little about the devices other than their model numbers. As of now, seven new iPhone models with numbers – A2628, A2630, A2634, A2635, A2640, A2643 and A2645 have been granted certification.
