The KSEEB has successfully conducted the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination as per the scheduled time table . Every year lakh of candidates appears for the 10th examination for all districts , this year nearly 9 lakhs students appeared Secondary Board examination. The board regulates and supervises the system of Secondary and Higher Secondary education in the state , executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting internal and final examinations. Keeping in mind the increased number of registered students for Board exam, the authority is anticipating the pass percentage and success ratio of students to be higher compared to last year.

The Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board , governmental board of school education in Kar state class 10th, the goal of the Academic, Training, Innovation and their operational planning to ensure balanced academic activities in the schools affiliated to the Board. The Unit strives to provide Scheme of Studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programmes. The Examination would be conducted in theory as well as in practicals, depending upon the nature of the subject(s) and the marks/grades allotted shall be as prescribed in the curriculum.

The Scheme of Examinations and Pass Criteria for All Standard 10th Examination conducted by the Board, shall be as laid down from time to time. The 10th must be obtained at the end of term of study at the secondary school after which a student can study at a higher secondary school, which is sometimes called a Senior Secondary / +2 / Intermediate, for two years. Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board came in to existence in the year 2066, has been conducting SSLC and other examinations. Every year the student strength is increasing tremendously. This decentralization caters to the need of the student needs at their proximity. Functions of the Board

1.Collecting data relevant to the student appearing for various exams from school.

2.Constitution of centers to conduct the exam.

The above table shows the number of candidates appeared in the final examination, total pass percentage of girls, total pass percentage of girls and overall pass percentage of result. In the year 2016, an number of students appeared for the examination 8,49,000 which 75.84 were boys and 82.64 were girls and the overall percentage is 79.16.  While are talking about the year 2017 for the same thing a number  of students appeared for the examination 7,66,950 which 72.13 were boys and 73.86 were girls and the overall percentage is 73.26.

Compartment Examination

The KSEEB Board has ventured to conduct the Supplementary examination for the failed candidate of the examination of March in June month of every year itself, this will enable the students who would be successful in the June examination to join higher education courses in the same academic year from July itself. According to official notification , the candidates who have failed to clear the exam can submit their examination form and fee for supplementary examination.

The Board will be released Karnataka 10th Results 2020 along with the total pass percentage of the students, who have written the 10th class exam in 2020 along with pass percentage of the students of Boys and girls separately, state wise merit list, country wise merit list,  top-10 number scores and name and state wide top-10 numbers scores and Names.
