Eligibility Criteria for KTET 2020 

Recruit the above teacher jobs shall be made on the basis of merit of Kerala TET 2020 exam to be conducted by the authority for which candidates are eligible Category-1, Category-2, Category-3, Category-4, subject to fulfillment of the following conditions.

Category-1 : Lower Primary Classes : 

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) (by whatever name known) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. (OR)

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (OR)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). (OR)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Category 2: Upper Primary Classes : 

B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’Certificate (TTC) (by whatever name known) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. (OR)

B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).(OR)

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education(B.El.Ed). (OR)

Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed. (OR)

Category 3 : High School Classes


BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto).

For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life.

Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply.

BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and who passed in LTTC are eligible to apply.

Category 3 : Language Teachers


Language teachers in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers and Physical Education teachers (up to High School level).

How to Apply-KTET 2020 Application Form

The authority will released the Kerala TET Application Form 2020 in online mode in the month September tentatively, applicants must be check the eligibility fulfillment of examination before submission of  application forms. First of each candidate are required to pay the application fee , after that you will able to fill the online application submit at Official web portal. All the aspirants willing to participate in the exam had to submit their applications before last date, any applicant submitted after the last date of registration,  have not been accepted by authority.

Fill up of  KTET 2020 Online Application

Step-1 : Fee Payment

1.Logging to the official website https://ktet.kerala.gov.in, click on the KTET 2020 and Online Application.

2. After clicking the link you will redirected to Candidate Payment page, fill the details are Candidate name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name as it is in the SSLC / 10th Standard Marks cards, Active E-Mail Id, Working Mobile Number, choose User Id , Pass word and Answer the secret question.Completing registration details entry, then click ” Submit” button.

3.If the fee is paid through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, the payer will gets a Transaction Id which can be used for the reference to enter the second step of online application.

4. If the fee is paid through Chelan i.e., by taking the print out of the Chalan from the website and remit the amount to any of the branches of SBT. The SB collect reference No which is printed in the Challan can be used for the reference to enter the second step of online application.

Step-2 : Fill the KTET 2020 Online Application

5. Then a Login Prompt will be displayed and candidates are required to enter the Transaction-Id / SBI-Collect Reference No, Date of Birth and Mobile Number in the Login. screen.

6. On successful login by the candidates ” Personal details” will be displayed, fill the entire academic, study, reservation and personal details.

7. Medium in which candidate desires to appears for the test, Name of the Native District as per study, Reservation  Under Special category, category course opted.

Step-3 : Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

8. After successful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the  Candidate Photograph (3.5*4.5 cm), signature (3.5*1.5 cm) and click on the “Submit” button.

Step-4 : Download Confirmation page / Generate Application Form

9. Click on appearing as “Print” link, enter the required details, click submit button.

Validity period of  Kerala TET Certificate 

The Validity Period of KTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

Kerala TET 2020 Exam pattern 

The TET Exam 2020 will be held on Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Paper-4 and conducted in Offline as Paper-Pen Based Test, each paper contain 150 multiple choice questions. Each question has four options out of which one is correct. Each correct answer will awarded 1 mark. The unanswered questions or multiple answers will receive nil marks and the exam duration 2 & 1/2 hours. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

 Kerala TET Admit Card 2020

The authority will be released the admit cards of  KTET 2020 exam in online mode in the month of May tentatively. The Admit card will issued only to those candidates whose application form has been accepted by the examination authority. The admit card contain in  candidate roll number, name, father name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper with name and address of of examination centre allotted , candidate should carefully examine all the entry’s, if any errors, candidate should inform organizing authority immediately. Kerala TET Answer Key 2020

The authority will publish the answer key of the test in the official website. Kerala TET exam 2020 response sheet answers will be released in two stages, that is provisional and final. Kerala TET Results 2020

Kerala TET Cut Off 2020
