Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU) is a public central university located in Bihar. It was established in 2016 by an Act of Parliament, and is named after Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Indian nation. The university is situated in Motihari, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in various fields such as arts, science, commerce, management, social sciences, law and education.
