Moral story-The Tale of Two Wolves

Moral story-The Tale of Two Wolves-Once upon a time, an old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life. He told the young boy, “A fight is going on inside me. It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.”

“One wolf is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

“The other wolf is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.”

The old Cherokee chief continued, “This same fight is going on inside you and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old chief simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Conclusion: This story teaches us that we all have a choice in life. We can choose to focus on negative emotions and thoughts or we can choose to focus on positive ones. It is up to us to feed the right wolf and cultivate positive qualities in ourselves.
