Petrol, Diesel Prices Unchanged On Tuesday; Petrol Above Rs 102 In Mumbai

Currently, petrol and diesel prices are determined broadly by crude oil and forex rates.

Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices are unchanged across the four metros on Monday, June 14, according to Indian Oil Corporation. In Delhi, the petrol prices are constant at Rs 96.41 per litre and diesel prices are steady at Rs 87.28 per litre. In Mumbai, the prices of petrol and diesel are Rs 102.58 per litre and Rs 94.70 per litre. The state-run oil marketing companies – Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum align the rates of domestic fuel with that of the global crude oil prices by taking into account any changes in foreign exchange rates. Any changes in fuel prices are implemented with effect from 6 am every day.

Meanwhile, oil prices rose on Tuesday, with brent gaining for a fourth consecutive session as the prospect of extra supply coming to the market soon from Iran faded with talks dragging on over the United States rejoining a nuclear agreement with Tehran.

Brent crude was up by 43 cents, or 0.6 per cent, at $73.29 a barrel and U.S oil gained 41 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $71.29 a barrel.
