The Eagle and the Chickens

Once upon a time, a young eagle was raised by a group of chickens. It learned to peck at the ground for seeds and to walk instead of fly. Despite the encouragement of its eagle family who would fly overhead, the young eagle lacked the confidence to try and fly.

One day, a wise old eagle saw the young eagle and realized it was not living up to its potential. The wise old eagle swooped down and asked the young eagle, “Why do you live like a chicken, when you are meant to soar like an eagle?”

The young eagle was confused and scared, but the wise old eagle encouraged it to try flying. It took some time and effort, but with practice and perseverance, the young eagle eventually gained the confidence to fly.

The moral of the story is that we should never limit ourselves or let others limit us. We all have the potential to soar to great heights, but sometimes we need a little push and encouragement to believe in ourselves. With confidence and effort, we can achieve anything we set our minds to, just like the young eagle who learned to fly.
