DGE, Tamil Nadu has successfully conducted the 11th,12th examination as per time schedule. Every year lakhs of candidates appears for the 12th Class examination, this year nearly  9 laces students appeared XII examination. Students have prepared themselves  for the exam to score the higher marks so that they can choose the subjects of their own choice in the higher level of education. The state board has announced the public exam result in the month of May, some students are not satisfied with their marks. The board  will give the one more opportunity for students, revaluation of papers and rechecking their results. Directorate of Government Examination Simply called as DGE and was established Feb, 1975, It regulates, controls and developers, secondary education and Higher Secondary education in the state.
