Top Engineering Colleges in India 2022 NIRF Rankings, Scores : The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India.The Framework was approved by the MHRD and launched by Minister of Human Resource Development on 29 September 2015.This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions.
NIRF Rankings 2022
The National Institutional Ranking Framework to rank India’s top colleges and universities has been released on July 15, 2022. The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the NIRF India Ranks 2022 today at 11 am. NIRF India Rankings 2022 is set to be announced for ten categories — Overall, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Colleges, Architecture, Law, Medical, Dental and Research.

The Framework uses several parameters for ranking purposes like resources, research, and stakeholder perception. These parameters have been grouped into five clusters and these clusters were assigned certain weightages. The weightages depend on the type of institution. About 3500 institutions voluntarily participated in the first round of rankings.
