SAIL Young Professional Recruitment 2026 Salary and Benefits
Candidates engaged as Young Professionals will receive a consolidated monthly retainership fee based on their grade:

Increments & Extra
Annual Increment: Performance-linked increment of 4%, 7%, or 10% of the monthly retainership fee.
Accommodation: Company accommodation (2 BHK / 3 BHK) subject to availability, or rental reimbursement of ₹6,000/month (YP-1 & YP-2) or ₹10,000/month (YP-3).
Communication Allowance: Monthly allowance of ₹800 (YP-1), ₹1,000 (YP-2), or ₹1,200 (YP-3) for mobile and broadband.
Medical Benefits: Free OPD and IPD facilities at SAIL hospitals. OPD allowance up to ₹3,000/month for city locations and insurance premium reimbursement up to ₹30,000/year.
SAIL Young Professional 2026 Selection Process
The selection process involves scrutiny of applications followed by an interview or test:
- Scrutiny of Applications: Applications are checked against eligibility norms.
- Written / Computer-Based Test (CBT): If applications received exceed 5 times the vacancies, SAIL may conduct a CBT, Aptitude, or Psychometric Test. Candidates are shortlisted for interview in a 1:3 ratio.
- Personal Interview: If applications are fewer than 5 times the vacancy count, all eligible candidates will be called directly for personal interaction.
- Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
