Covid-19 in India : India newly registered as many as 8,822 Covid-19 cases in the last 24-hours, 33.8% higher than yesterday. It caused the total caseload to 4,32,45,517. According to the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, the number of active Covid-19 new cases in India has increased from 50,548 to 53,637.
As many as 15-deaths were reported in the country in the same duration, increasing the total current death count to 5,24,792.
The top-5 states which registered maximum cases are Maharashtra with 2,956 cases, followed by Kerala with 1,989 cases, Delhi with 1,118 cases, Haryana with 430 cases.and Karnataka with 594 cases.
