Mahesh Manjrekar lost 35 kgs before Antim’s shoot

At the trailer launch of his directorial Antim: The Final Truth, Mahesh Manjrekar revealed that he lost 35 kgs before starting the shooting of the film. He said that he was diagnosed with cancer while he was shooting for the film.

Antim’s trailer was released yesterday (October 25) with much pomp and show. At the trailer launch, Mahesh talked about working out and losing kilos before starting the shooting of the film and later getting diagnosed with cancer. He said, “Just before Antim, I had worked out and lost about 35 kgs. But then an unfortunate thing happened.

While I was shooting for Antim, I was diagnosed with cancer. I shot the last portion of the film when I had cancer. I was taking chemotherapy at the time. But today I am really happy to tell you that I am cancer free.”
