Ranveer’s young but Akshay Kumar steals the show in Sooryavanshi’s Aila Re Aillaa, says Daler Mehndi

One look at Daler Mehndi’s filmography from 1995 would reveal how the singer has given us a continuous stream of hit songs in films, albums or music videos. His latest song Aila Re Aillaa from Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryavanshi dropped on October 21. It broke all records by garnering 29.72 million views in just 24 hours on YouTube. The cop film stars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, along with Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.

Aila Re Aillaa is a very peppy number and it was an instant hit. Daler Mehndi says, “I absolutely loved singing the song. It has very catchy music. We had recorded the song almost one-and-a-half years ago and since then we were waiting for it to release.

First, the pandemic happened and after that, we were waiting for the theatres to reopen. All of us including Dharma Productions, Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn were very excited. We have waited every single day.”
