Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff’s War sequel to go on floors in 2022, director Siddharth Anand confirms

Today, October 2, marks the second anniversary of Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan-starrer War. On the special occasion, director Siddharth Anand shared that the sequel of the action-thriller will go on floors next year. The first part, War, also starred Vaani Kapoor, along with Ashutosh Rana, Anupriya Goenka and Soni Razdan.

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War released in 2019 after creating much buzz among fans. On the film’s second anniversary, director Siddharth Anand announced its sequel.

During an interview with MidDay, he said, “We knew that if War works, we will make a sequel and I have shared some thoughts on how to take it forward. We will hopefully start it by next year.

Talking further about the film, Siddharth Anand added, “War 2 is a big responsibility, and we need normalcy (to be restored) before we can dive into it.”
